Chino Hills Personal Trainer-Led Boot Camp Tops Fitness Trends For 2012
Chino, CA (PRWEB) January 24, 2012
A recently released survey conducted by the American College of Sports Medicine found that top fitness trends in 2012 include: 1) Strength and core training, 2) Fitness programs for older adults, 3) Weight loss solutions, 4) Group personal training, and 5) Zumba classes. For these reasons, boot camp sessions led by a local Chino Hills boot camp trainer are still the cutting edge of what consumers demand in the coming year.
“Strength training and core conditioning are the heart of a boot camp program, although we throw in extremely effective cardio interval training as well,” explains Sam Bakhtiar, a certified Chino Hills personal trainer for more than 20 years. “It’s no surprise this is a major trend for 2012 because people realize that building lean muscle mass is the key to looking really good and feeling their best as they age.”
Boot camps in Chino Hills don’t necessarily run programs specifically for older adults, but they do attract people of all ages. “We had a woman in her seventies lose over 100 pounds last year,” Sam Bakhtiar says. “It’s really amazing how people are transforming their lives, whether they’re 30, 60, or even 90. My message to seniors is: you’re never too old to get started!”
The Chino Hills weight loss and personal trainer adds that his boot camps are the most effective method for weight loss for several reasons. First, the workouts use scientifically-proven methods like metabolic resistance and interval training. Second, the program combines nutrition counseling and exercise for a well-rounded approach to weight loss. Third, the vast majority of participants lose a steady two pounds per week, which is better for maintaining fat loss for the long-term.
Boot camps are structured as group classes to make the program more affordable and more fun. “We call our boot camp class my little ‘tribe’ because the people that come week after week have really become buddies. We go out to lunches together, we run 5Ks, we even go grocery shopping as a group! If you’re looking for a social club, this is it!” Sam says.
As for zumba classes, Chino Hills Personal Trainer Sam can’t promise that sexy Latin dance moves will appear in his boot camp. “I’m not really sure what the appeal is, but I suspect that people are just looking for an hour of fun that doesn’t really feel like drudgery,” he says. “My boot camp provides that as well, but my moves are easier and my musical accompaniment is a little more diverse. I promise you’ll have fun and be hooked within 30 days — or you get your money back.”
