Any tips for shift workers? I am on a 24/7 rotating roster and have no regular sleep pattern. Could you please do a video on optimum times for sleep? Great vids and site Scooby – I love what you are doing!

There are some situations where someone simply cannot get enough sleep like in the military where part of the training is sleep deprivation where it is not uncommon to get 2 hours of sleep each day.

@F0RDI3 1 second up and 1 second down during the exercise or 2 seconds each way.

F0RDI3 January 2, 2012 at 2:05 pm

Hey scoob, i was just wondering on your site next to exercises you say things like “1s up 1s dn” or “2s up 2s dn”. What dou you mean by this? Cheers

@TrustYourOwnInstinct wow you really tore that chap down unnecessarily. His statement implied that he had to get up, like the majority of us, later on that morning. The majority of us have also assumed this to be his intention. You ignorantly generalise the youth of today and have digs about his evolutionary status. The truth is that you just wanted to come across as smart and witty when you really just came across as insecure and condescending. Forget teaching sarcasm; learn about integrity.

@urmomsayswhat Ironic? It WOULD be ironic IF scooby had made a video about the importance of being awake DURING THE DAY, and not during the night.
However, the video was about THE AMOUNT of sleep. Not WHEN you have it.

Also, a lesson in sarcasm: I liked your post because I hate the way today’s youths neglect proper grammar.

I hope you receive a Darwin Award in the near future.

It was the other way around with me, I feel better getting up early. I was getting up after midday before and feeling sluggish, but now I get up at 7:30 am and feel great everyday. workouts are better too. What’s the recommended amount of sleep ?

Mzakenman January 2, 2012 at 3:30 pm

do you have videos for losing weight for teenagers?

Reply

bcroger2 January 2, 2012 at 3:46 pm

Good but you should address the effects of oversleeping.
